BECOME YOUR CHURCH KEYBOARDIST IN SEVEN DAYS (Lesson 1) Introduction- For this lesson to be successful you'll need a working keyboard placed in front of you. Put on the keyboard and minimize the volume. Facing the keyboard, you'll notice it consist of white and black keys. The white keys were arranged serially while the black keys were arranged in groups of 2 and 3. Try to press the keyboard keys (white and black) from your left hand side to your right hand side. You'll realise that, the sound from the left are tick and becomes light as you play forward to your right hand side. That means keyboard sounds were arranged from left hand side to the right. Identification of note C and middle C is the next.  Note C is the first white key before a two set of black keys. 'Before' means, the white key on the left side of two sets of black keys. HOW TO SING PRAISE AND WORSHIP

How to sing praise and worship 1. Start by making the congregation stand. It's a sign of respect and surrender to God. 2. Share a short exaltation or scriptural verse. Maximum of 2mins. You are not there to preach. 3. Sing with your eyes opened. It helps you monitor the service especially the congregation and time. 4. Sing popular or congregational songs. You are there to lead and not to do a solo. 5. Avoid changing songs quickly. Its not about changing of songs. 6. Sing every song for at least 3mins before u change to another 7. Be sensitive to the spirit. (Rom. 8:14) 8. Make room for the congregation to express their worship also. 8. Focus and be active on stage as your involvement will have a great impact on the congregation. 9. Allow for a minute silence during the worship session.
